Trouble at the Command Center
From Space Tree Wiki
[edit]
Original Appearance
This joke is actually a mockery at the first few scenes of Space Trouble, the first episode of Space Tree. The original dialogue went like the following:
(cut to the Command Center, the Commander pushes a button and speaks into a mircophone)
Commander: Come in Space Tree, there's trouble at the Command Center.
(cut to Space Tree)
Space Tree: Did you just say there's trouble at the Command Center?

Other Appearances
Somehow this scene has seemed to catch on in other episodes. This is probably a running gag because of the semi-crappy drawings.
- Space for Rent - "Come in, Space Tree! There's trouble at the old farm! ...in uh... space. The... Space Farm. Whatever." "Did you just say there's trouble at the old space farm?!?"
- Out of Space - "Come in, Space Tree, we've got to save Christmas!" "Did you just say we've got to save Christmas?" "No!"
- Harassin' Assassin - "Come in, Space Tree! Freely McWheely's gonna come and kill us or something!" "Not if I kill him first!" "Gee whiz!"
- No Chalk - "Come in, Space Tree, there's trouble at the command center." "Did you just say that I'm a robot?"
- Serious Tingling - "Look out Space Tree! There's something coming in from the starboard bow!" "Uh oh! My Space Tree sense is tingling!"
- While the dialogue is altered somewhat, and the animation style is updated, the general choice of "camera" angles and premise is similar enough to the original theme to merit its inclusion here.

Appearances outside Space Tree
- In an episode named The Terror From Beyond Imageshack, the webtoon Bonus Stage copies this scene for a cutaway to the poorly-written fan cartoon "Space Triangle."
